Childcare Services in Middle Georgia

Meadowdale Early Education provides experienced and educational childcare services for Middle Georgia families.

We strive to create a welcoming and educational environment for children, and we structure our programs around family values. We provide year-round childcare, Monday through Friday.

Educational Programs for All Ages

Our teachers lead a variety of programs serving children from 6 weeks to 11 years old. Our before and after-school program includes transportation to and from our facility and some of our local Houston County elementary schools. Each center drops-off and picks-up from specific elementary schools in their area.

Our childcare programs include:

  • Infants
    (6 weeks – 1 year old)
  • Toddlers
    (1 year – 2 years old)
  • Two’s
  • 2.5 and 3’s
  • Three’s
  • 3.5 and 4’s
  • State-Funded Pre-K Program
(Children who turn 4 years old by September 1st of the current year)
  • Before and After School Program with Holiday Break Care
    (K – 5th grade)
  • Summer Program
    (K – 5th grade)

Our Childcare Curriculum

We use the Creative Curriculum as the learning resource for our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. This curriculum provides Monthly Thematic Units specially designed to meet the developmentally appropriate needs of each age group.

Our daily lesson plans focus on four main developmental categories:

  1. Physical
  2. Social and Emotional
  3. Language and Literacy
  4. Cognitive

We incorporate these categories as a standard for what we learn each month. We believe children learn best through play, and our age-appropriate activities are all play-based.

The activities include research-based benchmark goals intended to:

  1. Inspire Creativity
  2. Instill Confidence
  3. Stimulate Growth

Pre-K Program

Our prekindergarten program is part of Georgia’s lottery-funded education initiative, and it’s designed to prepare children to succeed for years to come. This is a free program to all, exactly as the public school system. Your child can be eligible if they turn 4 years old by September 1st of the current year. If your child is already enrolled in our childcare center, they will have first priority to available spots.

Before and After School Program

This program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. We take children to school in the morning and pick them up from school in the afternoon. In the morning, the children are offered our hot breakfast before leaving for school. In the afternoon, once they arrive at the center, they are offered a snack. The children play in indoor and outdoor activities, and homework can be worked on during this time if the child chooses. This program also hosts your children during the school system holidays.

Summer Program

Our summer program is only offered during the school system’s summer break. This program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Special activities, such as swimming and field trips, are offered during this time.

Providing Well-Balanced Nutrition

Children at our facilities enjoy a hot breakfast, hot lunch, and an afternoon snack. All our childcare facilities have full-service kitchens, and we follow USDA Nutrition Guidelines when creating menus to ensure children benefit from a well-balanced diet.
